Raj Kotecha – Co-Founder and Managing Director
Raj has overall responsability for our student housing and multifamily residential activity. He graduated with a First class degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Masters in Finance from Cambridge University. He began his career as a strategy consultant and has been a real estate investor for over twenty years.
Ami Kotecha, Co-Founder & Head of Venture Investments
Following on from her role as MD of AmroLiving, Ami leads on our venture capital investment activity. We focus on technology start-ups that drive transformational change in the residential and commercial property sectors where we can participate as an early- stage investor and a knowledge partner. Ami is an Economics graduate, with a BSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics and an M. Phil. from the University of Cambridge.
Thomas Donnachie, Investment Director
Tom is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of assets through the entire investment lifecycle. He is primarily focused on driving the UK Build to Rent activities of the business. He joined Amro from Valeo where he was Transactions Director for Europe, leading acquisitions within the purpose-built student accommodation space and a €450m Iberian fund raise. He graduated with a First-class degree in Property Investment and Finance from Nottingham Trent University.
Stephen Hole, Project Director
Stephen is Project Director leading AmroLiving’s first Build to Rent scheme, The Wiltern. Having seen the project through a successful Planning Committee in May 2020, Stephen is leading the project through the Design and Procurement phases as well as supporting the Funding and Acquisition work streams. Stephen has extensive experience in the Build to Rent Sector working as both a Project Manager, Employer’s Agent and Development Manager, and has held senior positions in well respected Consultancy practices. Stephen is a Consultant to Amro Real Estate Partners.
Cara Gallacher, Regional Property Manager
Cara is responsible for managing the Amro Vantage and AmroLiving operational platforms in the UK. Cara joined Amro from Campus Living Villages where she was General Manager responsible for all aspects of the business within West London property. Cara has a BA Hons in Business Management with Employment Law and a Msc in Sports Management from the University of Stirling.
Katy Orton, Senior Asset Manager
Katy is responsible for asset management, including leasing and marketing, at our Kingston properties. Katy has over seven years’ experience within the residential property sector.
Juan Trugillo, Digital Marketing Manager
Juan is responsible for Amro’s digital marketing strategy across its operational platforms and corporate activity. Juan joined Amro’s London office from Avis Budget Group where he worked as EMEA Digital Experience Manager and his previous roles included companies such as American Express and Lego. He holds a degree in International Travel and Tourism Management by Glasgow Caledonian University and a postgraduate degree in Marketing Management by the Business and Marketing School ESIC in Madrid.
Kashif Siddiqui, Finance Manager
Kash is a fellow chartered certified accountant with an extensive experience in the real estate sector. He is responsible for putting in place robust financial systems and processes, improve efficiencies and reduces company’s costs, oversee cash flow management, managing budgeting and forecasting process. Kash works closely with company directors, investors, funds and developers. Before joining Amro Kash has assisted a broad base of clients having worked for a niche firm and a “Big 4” firm.
Karun Chhokar, Senior Investment Analyst
Karun joined Amro earlier this year as a Senior Investment Analyst, his primary focus is in the Build to Rent spacewhere he works on project deliverables for our current schemes as well as developing our pipeline of new opportunities. Karun studied Economics at Queen Mary University of London and then joined Deloitte where he pursued his ACA, following on from this Karun worked across the commercial real estate sector before joining Amro.
Avril Portch, Asset Manager
Avril is responsible for managing Amro Living first build to Rent scheme, The Green Rooms, based in Manchester. With over 10 years’ experience in property sector starting with Student accommodation before moving to BTR and qualifying to Arla technical level 3.
Delaney Eastwood, Lettings Manager
Delaney is the lettings manager at The Green Rooms, having previously worked for Disney Cruise Line in management and entertainment roles.
Delaney holds a BA in Drama from the Manchester Metropolitan School of Theatre (MMU). Loves travelling, meeting new people, theatre, architecture and getting involved in new projects
Channon Neville, Asset Manager
Channon is responsible for leasing and marketing at our Bright House student residence in Kingston. Channon has previously worked in the hospitality industry and has substantial previous experience in managing student accommodation properties in Kingston.
Channon holds a degree in Photography from the Kingston School of Art.
Leanne Bulpett, Asset Manager
Leanne is responsible for the leasing, marketing along with the student at Riverside Way; one of our two student accommodation residences in Winchester. Within previous experience in the hospitality industry; within both the sporting and hotel sector. Leanne has a passion for events, and holds a BA Hons in Event Management from Bournemouth University.
Karina Skurko, Asset Manager
Karina is responsible for leasing, marketing and operational management at Cathedral Point. Previously working in the hotel sector as a Duty Manager. Karina holds both First-Class Honours in BA (Hons) Fashion Styling and MA Creative Direction degrees from Solent University.
Luis López-Quiñones García, Development Director
Luis is responsible for the development and delivery of Amro’s projects in Iberia. He joined Amro from MACE SA where he was a Senior Project Manager in the Madrid office and had responsibility for delivery of projects totalling €100m across the residential, retail and office sectors. He brings extensive experience of managing through all project lifecycle phases and communicating with all stakeholder groups. Luis graduated from the University of Granada with a degree in Architecture.
Pablo García-Morales Osorio, Associate Director, Investment
Pablo is responsible for origination, financial analysis, structure and investment underwriting for Amro’s student accomodation portfolio in Iberia. He joined Amro’s Madrid office from IHG where he was Development Manager for Iberia. Prior to that, Pablo was with JLL Hotels & Hospitality and with Grupo Azora where he was part of the Corporate Development & Investments team who were involved in ca. €200m of equity investments on behalf of a listed Spanish REIT. Pablo graduated from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (“CUNEF”) with a degree in Management and Business Administration with a major in Finance.
Teresa Herranz González, National Operations Manager
Teresa is responsible for leasing, marketing, operations and asset management of Amro’s student accommodation portfolio in Iberia. She joined Amro’s Madrid office from Greystar where she held the position of Commercial & Marketing Manager. With 15 years of operational experience managing a portfolio of c.9,000 beds, across all major cities in Spain, Teresa brings extensive market knowledge and management expertise to the Amro Estudiantes team. She holds a graduate degree from Centro Universitario de Estudios Financieros (“CUNEF”) and a Diploma in Business Administration from Complutense University. She also holds a qualification in Law & Legal Practice.
Javier Ortiz Hernández, Accommodation Manager
Javier is responsible for Amro´s student residence in Granada. Javier has a Psychology Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s degree in Human Resources with ten years of experience creating and managing people in work teams, as well as in the management of different kind of establishments in the healthcare and hospitality sector.
Ricardo Laynez, Project Manager
Ricardo is responsible for project management of Amro´s construction projects. His professional career has been developed in three different countries. He worked in several construction companies in Chile until he got a good professional opportunity in Costa Rica, were he acquired different skills and grew professionally. He has worked for Blue Diamond Hotels & Resorts as Construction Manager in the new firm Planet Hollywood Hotels of the hotel chain. Back in Spain he has worked for the Palladium Hotel Group in the island of Ibiza. Ricardo graduated in Technical Architecture from the IE Business School in Segovia.
Pelayo Jiménez, Senior Investment Analyst
Pelayo is Involved in Amro’s Iberia team for origination, financial analysis, structure and investment underwriting. He previously worked at JLL where he was an Investment Analyst in Hotels and Hospitality Group joining first as a member of the consultancy team and moving into the investment side where he was part of the team advising in the disposal of different assets across Spain for c.€250m on behalf of several investment firms. Graduated in Córdoba University with a double degree in Law and Business Administration. Pelayo also holds a Masters in International Finance from IEB,
