Raj Kotecha – Co-Founder and Managing Director

Raj is responsible for the transactional, financing and asset management activities of the business. He graduated with a First class degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Masters in Finance from Cambridge University. He began his career as a strategy consultant and has been a real estate investor for over twenty years.

Ami Kotecha

Ami Kotecha, Co-Founder & Managing Director, AmroLiving

Ami is a Co-Founder of Amro Real Estate Partners and Managing Director of AmroLiving, a Build-to-Rent (BtR) platform. She is responsible for the roll out of a London-focussed portfolio of purpose-built BtR schemes with an initial focus of delivering 1,500 homes across 5 schemes situated in Greater London. Ami is passionate about delivering a best-in-class end-user experience for our customers and our employees. As Amro’s Head of Innovation she combines her experience in property development and operations with her insights into the disruptive potential of technology to deliver a uniquely customer-focussed product and service.

Ami is an Economics graduate, with a BSc. from the London School of Economics and a post graduate, M. Phil. degree from the University of Cambridge. She also holds a post graduate RICS Diploma in Property Investment.

Thomas

Thomas Donnachie, Investment Director

Tom is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of assets through the entire investment lifecycle. He is primarily focused on driving the UK Build to Rent activities of the business. He joined Amro from Valeo where he was Transactions Director for Europe, leading acquisitions within the purpose-built student accommodation space and a €450m Iberian fund raise. He graduated with a First-class degree in Property Investment and Finance from Nottingham Trent University.

Luis Lopez-Quinones Garcia

Luis Lopez-Quinones Garcia, Development Manager, Iberia

Luis is responsible for the development and delivery of Amro’s projects in Iberia. He joined Amro from MACE SA where he was a Senior Project Manager in the Madrid office and had responsibility for delivery of projects totalling €100m across the residential, retail and office sectors. He brings extensive experience of managing through all project lifecycle phases and communicating with all stakeholder groups. Luis graduated from the University of Granada with a degree in Architecture.

Pablo Garcia-Morales Osorio, Investment Manager, Iberia

Pablo is responsible for origination, financial analysis, structure and investment underwriting for Amro’s student accomodation portfolio in Iberia. He joined Amro’s Madrid office from IHG where he was Development Manager for Iberia. Prior to that, Pablo was with JLL Hotels & Hospitality and with Grupo Azora where he was part of the Corporate Development & Investments team who were involved in ca. €200m of equity investments on behalf of a listed Spanish REIT. Pablo graduated from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (“CUNEF”) with a degree in Management and Business Administration with a major in Finance.

Ricardo Laynez, Project Manager, Iberia

His professional career has been developed in three different countries. He worked in several construction companies in Chile until he got a good professional opportunity in Costa Rica, were he acquired different skills and grew professionally. He has worked for Blue Diamond Hotels & Resorts as Construction Manager in the new firm Planet Hollywood Hotels of the hotel chain. Back in Spain he has worked for the Palladium Hotel Group in the island of Ibiza. Ricardo graduated in Technical Architecture from the IE Business School in Segovia.

Teresa Herranz González – National Operations Manager, Iberia

Teresa is responsible for leasing, marketing, operations and asset management of Amro’s student accommodation portfolio in Iberia. She joined Amro’s Madrid office from Greystar where she held the position of Commercial & Marketing Manager. With 15 years of operational experience managing a portfolio of c.9,000 beds, across all major cities in Spain, Teresa brings extensive market knowledge and management expertise to the Amro Estudiantes team. She holds a graduate degree from Centro Universitario de Estudios Financieros (“CUNEF”) and a Diploma in Business Administration from Complutense University. She also holds a qualification in Law & Legal Practice.

Paddy Jackman – Senior Adviser

Paddy is a Senior Adviser at Amro Real Estate Partners. He graduated with a BSc degree in Systems and Management from City University. Following a successful retail career in the USA and the UK in 1999 Paddy was appointed Commercial Director at the University of the Arts, London. In 2005, he was appointed Director of Commercial Services at Imperial College, London to lead their £170m real estate developments to improve student facilities, including c.850 new student beds. Paddy has been involved in design, construction and negotiations on lease and nominations agreements for c.3,500 student beds in London. As a result of his vast experience in the sector, he is a former Chair of the College and University Business Officers Organization (CUBO) and the current Chair of the influential Property Week Student Accommodation annual conference.

Javier Ortiz Hernández – Accommodation Manager

Responsible at our AMRO student residence in Granada. Javier has a Psychology Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s degree in Human Resources with ten years of experience creating and  managing people in work teams, as well as in the management of different kind of establishments in the healthcare and hospitality sector.

Juan Trugillo – Digital Marketing Manager

Juan is responsible for the digital marketing strategy of Amro’s student accommodation portfolio in the UK and Iberia. Juan joined Amro’s London office from Avis Budget Group where he worked as EMEA Digital Experience Manager. Juan has over 10 years of experience in marketing and has worked in companies such as American Express and Lego. Juan holds a degree in International Travel and Tourism Management by Glasgow Caledonian University and a postgraduate degree in Marketing Management by the Business and Marketing School ESIC in Madrid.

Barbora Szabova

Barbora Szabova – Regional Manager

Barbora is responsible for asset management, leasing and marketing of properties in Winchester. She graduated from Charles University in Prague with a Masters’ in International Relations and completed a Human Resource Diploma at London South Bank University. Barbora has 7 years’ experience within the real estate sector.

Katy Orton

Katy Orton – Asset Manager

Katy is responsible for asset management, including leasing and marketing, at our Greencoat House property in Kingston. Katy has over seven years’ experience within the residential property sector.

Channon Neville – Asset Manager

Channon is responsible for leasing and marketing at our Bright House student residence in Kingston. Channon has previously worked in the hospitality industry and has substantial previous experience in managing student accommodation properties in Kingston.
Channon holds a degree in Photography from the Kingston School of Art.
