Renowned real estate leader will provide high-level strategic counsel to the board.

Renowned industry heavyweight Paul Clark has joined Amro Partners as a Senior Adviser, providing strategic guidance and advice as our UK and European Living platform enters the next phase of its evolution.

Clark is a career investor within the global real estate sector, with a stellar track record spanning almost 40 years and deep insight into the mindset of top tier institutional investors.

He was most recently Head of Real Assets Europe at AustraliaSuper, Australia’s largest superannuation fund, where he oversaw landmark transactions including a 50:50 joint venture with British Land to deliver the £3.5bn Canada Water regeneration project and stewardship of the fund’s flagship investment in King’s Cross.

Prior to joining AustralianSuper in 2020, Clark spent 13 years as Chief Investment Officer at The Crown Estate, where he played a central role in repositioning the organisation and delivering long-term sustainable growth.

Alongside his executive career, Clark has also held a wide range of non-executive and industry leadership roles, serving as a board member of Federated Hermes’ Property Unit Trust and contributing to both the Bank of England’s Commercial Property Forum and the BPF’s General Policy Committee. He is currently serving as a Non-Exec Board Member of the King’s Cross Central Limited Partnership and the Canada Water Partnership.

Working alongside Amro Chairman and CEO Raj Kotecha, Group President Ami Kotecha and the senior management team, Clark will support our strategic ambition to institutionalise our platform and become a leading force in the Living sector across the UK and Europe.

Raj Kotecha, Chairman and CEO of Amro Partners, said: “Paul is one of the most respected and seasoned investors within the European real estate sector and we are delighted to benefit from his expertise and insight at a pivotal point in our growth. His experience in deploying capital across a number of sectors during multiple market cycles will be invaluable as we seek to become the Living sector partner of choice for institutional capital within the European market.”

Paul Clark added: “I am delighted to be working with a highly professional and ambitious business like Amro. I have been impressed by the quality of their team and am looking forward to contributing to their growth in the future.”
