Amro shortlisted in Sustainability category at EG Awards

August 22nd, 2022

Among tough competition, we’re thrilled to have been shortlisted for the coveted Sustainability Award at this year’s EG Awards.

No longer satisfied with our pledge to become a NZC business by 2030, at the start of this year we brought our goal forward to 31st December 2025, reflecting the urgency of the climate crisis and our determination to lead from the front.

To help us realise this ambition we’re developing our own technology in-house to help achieve our decarbonisation objectives, enabling us to deliver retrofits at speed and scale, while simultaneously investing directly in game-changing climate tech and proptech solutions.

Amro’s own residential living portfolio is being developed as the leading portfolio of residential assets from an ESG perspective and we’re proud to have won BREEAM Outstanding, Fitwell 3* and WiredScore Platinum ratings for our PBSA projects in Seville, Valencia and Pamplona in the last twelve months. Our retrofit plans for The Rex in Kington, our flagship co-living project, will ensure the project achieves a NZC whole life performance, making it an exemplar asset within the European residential market.

Alongside us on the shortlist is a fine cohort of organisations, all of whom take sustainability very seriously. We look forward to joining friends and associates from across the industry on 2nd November to celebrate all the good that real estate does!
