The recently released 2022 HomeViews Build to Rent Report includes the industry’s most in-depth study of the very best developments and developers – according to the residents themselves.
Design ratings for BTR schemes were the highest ever in 2021, with The Green Rooms in MediaCityUK, operated by Amro Living, named in fourth place in the top rated BTR developments in Manchester and sixth for design in the national category for BTR developments of 350 units or less.
At the heart of The Green Rooms’ success is its commitment to placemaking through an all-rounded approach to the planning, design and management of individual homes and public areas. Residents recognise and value the sense of community that has evolved from a strong focus on their health, happiness and wellbeing, encouraged by a pet-friendly approach and shared facilities such as a gym, pool table, meeting rooms, bike storage and a resident’s lounge which provide social gathering points and help facilitate connections. The reviews tell us residents feel at home and part of a community, supported by friendly staff who are on hand to resolve any issues quickly.
Design has always been a strong point for Build to Rent. Last year, the average design rating for BTR was the highest it has ever been, far exceeding ratings from tenants in BTS developments. Across the sector an overwhelming 88% of residents gave their BTR development a design rating of 4 or 5 out of 5, and only 3% gave it a 1 or 2 out of 5.
